    First, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Second, i have a problem with my retic, she is 5 months old, purple tiger, 25% jampea 25% sd, the problem is that she is a "pusher" , all the time she pushing her face on walls of box and pushing and her face is always "ugly" and deformed. What should i have to do with her, to stop doing that.

She is great eater, always normal poop, normal shedding proccess, everything is perfect except that. I am desperate because of that.

    Here some pics of her...

I love her so much, and it is very frustrating for me this situation. I also have her two brothers (het purple and tiger het purple) and they are perfect in every way, never do that no one of them.

Sorry for my bad english, please...

Retics push. A lot. I have an adult male that gives himself a bad case of "smash face" every breeding season, he looks a ton worse than your baby.

With a young female pushing is a reaction on her part to a husbandry problem. She's not happy in her home, and while you could be keeping her in perfect conditions, you will get the occasional individual that hasn't read the book. Things to check:
    - Too hot,
    - Too cold,
    - Tub too small,
    - Tub too big,
    - Too humid,
    - Too dry,
    - If she doesn't have a hide, try giving her one,
    - Needs more exercise.

The last one is how we get our male to minimize pushing. If we get him out of the enclosure for 30-60 minutes of exercise every 2-3 days he's a lot more chill when he's in his enclosure.

My first thought was security. If you don't have a hide large enough try tossing a towel in the tub so she can hide in and under it. My BRB prefers crinkled newspaper or a towel to an actual hide box.

Thanks a lot, my friends. I will put a cave to her tube. That for the start.

I've heard of several folks who use towels or baby blankets for their snakes to hide under. While they work, they should be removed for feeding so your snake doesn't swallow them.
