Is it normal for balls to skip aa meal?

My ball python has been eating just fine since I got him back in July until this week. Hes been eating two mice a week with no hesitation untill this week. At the end of November I stopped feeding and started just one because he spit one back up so from them I went to just one and we haven't had that problem since. Well today is feeding day but all he does is sit and look at it. It's touched him he's touched it but nothing he just looks at it. It's been an hour and I don't know if I should give up or not. He always eat with no hesitation. It always takes less than a minute but nothing tonight. Is this normal? Thanks good sitting between 50-60% humidity and right now the temps at high 70s low 80s he's got nice clean water and I just cleaned the tank two weeks ago. I just need to know is this OK to not eat a week? I do same day feeding every Wednesday same time so nothing is new.

What's the hot spot temp? Otherwise, it is COMPLETELY normal for a ball python to skip a meal. They are notorious for it. I once had a male go off feed for 5 months. Good luck with your buddy. :D

Yes it is they are overfed in captivity anyway and this should be expected, anyone that has not experienced a skip meal or a fast has either not owned enough BP or not for long enough or both.
