    Unexpected F/T Feeding Success
Yesterday was feeding day for the colubrids, and one didn't eat his f/t mouse, which was sitting out in a bowl prior to disposal (carpet pythons...) while I had Morimi, my baby BP out. She's been eating live, as that's what the breeder fed and the first time or two she refused f/t (after time to settle in).

Morimi wasn't due for feeding, but was clearly hunting, so I offered her the f/t mouse. She took it quite happily. The mouse was fairly bloody, which may have helped, but I have no objection to re-creating those conditions.

I'm not going to jinx it by saying she's definitely made the switch to f/t, but it looks promising. When it's time to feed Morimi again I'll probably make her mouse nice and messy, and feed her last so there's plenty of mousy-smells in the air.

Kiyohime, one of my husband's girls who eats live, was also hunting, so we'll probably try slipping her a f/t mouse as a chaser to a live one when we feed her next.

Congrats, I hope she continues for you!

Sounds like a good plan for Kiy too.
