    Behavior changes after breeding?
I was holding my super pastel male last night and was thinking if folks that do a lot of breeding notice any changes in their snakes behavior or personality after they have bred. Either male or female has anyone noticed a marked change in one or all of their snakes after they have been bred?

I have not seen any changes other than feedings.

Thanks Pit, was just curious. my breeding plans are years down the road but was just thinking about it last night. I know some claim that other animals may change some what, for example I've heard a litter of pups may settle down a crazy female dog. Whether true or not I don't know.

Definitely a change in the females appetite! All of my female ball pythons have become more forceful and regular feeders after having laid eggs. No real noticeable change in the males. Typically they go off food during breeding couplings.

Yeah I second that, my girls became brutal feeders after they laid their first clutches with me.

Or the lack thereof. I have one that is pounding rats and chasing me to give her more...like coming half her length out of the cage chasing me!...while I have 2 that are off feed and one that only wants live now. My males are hit and miss.
