Underweight?

I'm watching my friend's animals while she's on vacation, and due to a mishap with the snake tank, I ended up bringing her snake home with me. While I was fetching it out of its tank, I noticed it looked really angular. Is it under fed?

I brought it home and weighed it, it's 750g, probably about 10 years old, male. I have other snakes including two bp, and none of mine look that narrow. (Or mine are overfed!)

Do you have a pic of it just flat on the ground? It's hard to tell from that pic.

I agree, different picture would be better.

i think it was on snakebytes i heard that they keep their males between 750g and 950g because they figure that they breed better at that size so i don't think the weight is an issue. i think it is more of the snakes look healthwise. so like stated above a better pic would be nice.

Here's another picture of the snake. I fed him this morning, and I've never seen a mouse disappear that fast!

I think he's a bit thinner than I would want to see, but BPs aren't supposed to look like bloods either. Do you know what his feeding schedule and prey size is?

Looks thin to me, but not thin enough that I'd be super worried, especially since he is eating for you. Put weight back on him a little at a time, don't overload him with large meals. He should be fine with some TLC.

I give my friend 2 mice every week to feed him, but he's been refusing to eat lately. I think they have his enclosure too cold for him because when I got him home to my rack, he ate right away as soon as he got warmed up. I'm tempted to "borrow" him for a month to put a little weight on him! I keep a mouse colony, which is why I'm the food supplier for my friend. The snake could probably eat rats, but I only have a mouse colony.
