Business Name

How many of you actually search a name before you start to use it?
Both business and screen are one in the same as it is what you will be known by in the community.

I have been pitontheprowl for close to 20 years.
Name has been used and on file that long with all my state and federal taxes too.

I originally wanted my business name to be Tower Hill Serpents, but I searched it just to make sure, and yes the name was taken. It sucks. I am still not sure of a business name. I really want to explain where I live and what I sell, but I cannot seem to find anything that sticks.

i have two though theyre not OFFICIALLY businesses....

my artsy side of things is Stupid Zombie Productions... whereas when i get into breeding/trading/selling/etc ball pythons, it'll be Spyder Byte Morphs, which has Spyder which is a long running nickname in the family, so it stays.

Both when searched/googled come up with my results, but i havent done anything really with either name.

I was thinking of names for when i begin selling balls and i really wanted Lucky Clutch. it is taken.

I searched for mine and didn't have any results, but haven't registered since there isn't much point to it yet. It's risky, but I have a fallback name no one could use, just in case.

I keep things simple, name + reptiles. If I ever run into another John Hannum Reptiles then we can sort things out like reasonable human beings - e.g., cage match.

I did for both my firearm business and my reptile ***hobby***.

I have one LLC and three trade names on file with the state, including Franklin Morphs. I was going to use something closer to by LLC name, however DaVinci is in use by at least two other reptile sellers, so I went with my middle name, and think it sounds good.

I was thinking about naming my business "scottman's balls" Lol. I know its not very clever or anything but its my family nickname and its what everyone calls me.
