    Planted tank - sort of
The clips to the screen came in today, which meant I could finally switch out the junky plastic tops, and a second Jungle Dawn/Exo-Terra hood order came in as also. (Unfortunately, the clips aren't a great fit on one of the tanks, and here I thought they were both identical. Well, not quite.)

I had a 3 quart pyrex tray planted with moss, a flourishing Hedera Helix, and a button fern. Bottom layer is an inch of gravel. As with all my smaller terrariums, I put all the gravel in a net bag (in liew of the divider screen) since the bag makes transplants and re-do's much easier. New England Herpetoculture's version of ABG mix is the substrate. I threw some small pieces of decorative bark over the bare spots.

Turns out, a greenish-yellow speckled black kingsnake looks GOOD under LED's while slithering over green moss.
