I know how scary that is. The anxiety, the endless mud to cleanup afterwards.

When I was growing up our home got flooded 3 times. 3-4 foot inside the house! We finally moved after that third time.

    Stay safe :)

I forgot tell you this funny story- Not sure if help came from above or actually down below.

Until you have been through a flood you just don't know how bad the mud really is.

Our house that got flooded had Central Air with the duct work beneath the floor. Those ducts got filled with so much mud that the airflow was blocked.

My fad had all of the vent covers off and was scooping mud out of the ducts. He had no luck, the airflow was still blocked.

Well, I had just happened to bring home a big white rabbit from somewhere. Don't remember the story, I was constantly bringing animals home.

I was goofing around inside the house with the rabbit against my parents wishes when the rabbit jumped down into a vent and disappeared. He was gone for days. I got grounded as usual and my Dad was counting more dollar signs in his head.:rolleye2:

I kept looking in vents everyday for my rabbit and Bingo! On the far side of the house from where he entered sat this now BROWN rabbit that couldn't move.

My dad rescued him with great relief. By the looks of this once White rabbit, my Dad thought there may be a slim chance that the bunny cleared out the obstruction.

Sure enough! The air was working as good as new and yours truly was no longer grounded and allowed to keep our hero.:)
