Possible mites?

I noticed some spots on my ball python, Lucy, that I did not notice before and they have me worried! I recently bought a second hand reptile tank that I am now housing her in. I cleaned them up pretty good with soap and water! Would anyone be able to help me and tell me if these are in fact mites?

I saw mites on a pet store snake once. They move.

Mites move, and they like to target the pits on their face, around the eyes, and just under the lips. If they were on the body like that you would be able to wipe them off with your hand.

Take a damp white paper towel and wipe her off. Look at the specks on the paper towel - do they move?

Also did you thoroughly clean and disinfect the used enclosure? I wash it, let it dry, hit it with ammonia, let it sit for 24 hours outside, rinse, hit with chlorine bleach, let sit for 24 hours, rinse several more times, allow to dry for several days, and then use it.

DO NOT MIX AMMONIA AND CHLORINE BLEACH. Rinse well between the two products.

Mites burrow under and around the edges of scales. You especially see them in the folds of skin under the lower jaw, and in the orbits of the eye. They are also 3 dimensional. Those are spots of pigment.
