??..HET markers..??

I know that pieds are said to be a marked with train lines but what about clowns an all the other recessive genes that give hets . What are there markers and where do you find them is it always on the belly or not..??
How is eye color determined in snakes, is there a marker for that also..??

Pieds are the only ones with good visual markers that don't always prove out.
The only true "mark" for a het is the ones on the breeders card that paired the parents.

Het Pied markers are more than just train tracks and train tracks vary from subtle to very pronounced. The issue is that some normal have markings similar to het pied markers and some het can appear to be lacking the so called markers, experience and having a trained eye often makes the difference.

Also the more genes you are stacking up the less likely will you be able to identify hets.

Het Clown can also be recognized it's subtle but it's there.

Having a trained eye is something you acquire over the years and produce clutches after clutches, being able to examine the animal in person is also very important, picture and videos are not the best.
