    Help cleaning half log
    Hey All!
What method would you recommend to clean the half logs that have seemingly real wood on them (That may harbor lots of bacteria)?
    Thanks,

Burn it and replace it with plastic. Wood hides harbor mold, bacteria, and are impossible to clean once they get urinated on or pooped on.

Plastic hides just get run through the dishwasher when dirty.

Ugh, I second this. The wood hides get plain nasty.

Made me chuckle... Very true though. Get yourself some Reptile Basics hides. Easy to clean and will give your BP a more secure feeling.

I decided to home make a hide, using the half log as the "model".

VERY TRUE, so to my understanding anywhere a snake can feel protected would be a good hide.. me,myself i'm currently using BEATS headphones boxes with holes big enough for snake to enter/exit, and if i have to replace, old sneaker boxes next...
