barcode software

I believe this belongs in Husbandry but if not i apologize. Does anyone know if there is barcode software that can produce and read it, i would like to keep track of feedings, shedding etc. I have a bit of OCD and can't stand looking at index cards hanging on or around my racks and with the possibilities of 100 plus snakes in 2 years i would like to find something better then index cards

I just made the switch to Reptile Scan about a week ago and so far its great.
Offers a lot more information than needed too.
