My friend just got 1.1 spiny mice in a trade at her pet store. I am thinking of buying two of the babies (the female is way preggo.)
Anyone ever keep/breed them? I would not want to use them as feeders, since they are pretty exotic (at least around here) and their fur is actually pretty spiky (hence the name.) They are a bit larger than reg. mice but smaller than rats.
