How many sheds in a month is normal?
Just curious as to what is deemed "normal" or "typical."

It seems like it was about 3 weeks about maybe that my female pastel piebald shed and I just opened her tub to find a fresh new shed in there. I know I probably should be recording these things so I can look back and accurately pinpoint when her last shed was but the last couple weeks have been final exam weeks in college for me, so my mind has been completely preoccupied.
Anyways, It definitely wasn't longer than a month ago that she shed so I was curious as to if this was normal of growing young bps?
She's not being power fed or anything like that. One rat pup every 5-6 days. Not sure if that is a factor in this case. Perhaps she is just growing quickly?

Hard to say...Bp's shed when they need to lol. It seems like she must have gotten a growth spurt. I have some that shed once a month (babies) to ones that shed every few months.

My ball normally sheds every 6 weeks or so until this last shed. She last shed on the first of October and, as of this morning, has not started to yet. Also my boa (younger male) and her were shedding at the exact same time, every time, since I brought him home, in April. He completed his shed last weekend so I assumed that the ball would be any day too but not so. She has grown quite a bit and, perhaps, her shed cycle is slowing down somewhat from her younger days (now that she is an old dolly of roughly 2 1/2 - 3 yrs).

When they're younger they will shed more often because they're growing. As they get older and their growth slows down, so will their sheds.

im new to this but from what you said this would be her 3rd winter correct? maybe she is not shading yet because she is in folical development and don't they usually throw a shed after ovulation? im not saying this is true but her body might be holding back on the energy needed to produce the new shed due to building up of eggs.
