critter care paper bedding
would critter care multicolored paper bedding be okay for baby ball pythons ? or adults ? i have a bag of it . i usually use paper towels but its pretty neat looking and if its safe it'll make my tanks looks a lil cooler lol i usually dont use any bedding besides paper towels because i dont like seeing my snakes eat bedding that sticks to the rats as they are eating them

Re: critter care paper bedding
I would imagine the biggest problem one would have with that bedding would be mold, but I've never used it (for any animal in general), so I am not an authority.
Re: critter care paper bedding
I've only used this for a pet rabbit. I have heard people say the coconut fiber i use is messy, which i disagree with, but i think this is even worse. Also as was said i would worry about it molding.
Re: critter care paper bedding
My daughters used it for their hamsters. It was terribly messy. It got everywhere and molds to easy for long term use. I keep my BP on aspen bedding. They do great on it.

Re: critter care paper bedding
I've used similar paper bedding products for my snakes before, as with my gerbils. Only I prefer stuff that isn't dyed or loaded with dust. It's soft and decomposable, so even though I try my best to avoid my animals digesting any, I'd feel better about them accidentally swallowing a piece of the natural paper bedding than hard wooden flakes that could splinter them.
