Finally got my first snake

I finally got my first snake today! After all the fuss about me wanting to get a corn snake I ended up taking home a baby male Kenyan Sand Boa, I held him and absolutely fell in love with him. I decided after a few hours to name him grimm :) Even my mom held him and called him cute and she hates snakes lol He's in shed right now though.

Thanks! I'm super excited to keep him, right now we are using a heat bulb for him but I'm hoping to get a heat pad for underneath his tank with my next allowance and some more stuff for him.

So do I! I thought it was so cute when he tried to burrow in my hands lol. This one in particular was really calm and sweet, he sat in my hands and let me stroke him.

Congrats on the new addition. I really like his name too :). Make sure to get a theromstat for your heat source. If you're using the heat bulb you can control the temps with a dimmer or rheostat. Best wishes and keep us posted on his progress.

i love his colors and pattern, reminds me of cookies and cream ice cream. congrats! he's a cutie.
