I have heard that some of the yellow morphs like pastel tend to brown out with age. My question is what phenotypes keep nice bright yellows as they get older?

Orange Dream combos, Desert combos, Candinos and Toffinos (they look like super bright Albinos) are some that come to mind.

I have a Hypo Lemon Blast and a Hypo Firefly. Both still look amazing. The LB is 2.5 y/o. The FF is 1.5 y/o.

I am looking at a late 2014 pastel lace that is 1000 grams and still really yellow. Do you think she will stay this way or could she brown out as well? I am a little nervous because the seller has another girl from a different mother who has most definitely browned out. What do you all think? Does anyone have any experience with the lace gene?

Most Pastels and Pastel combos will brown out eventually. Some will hold there yellow longer but after about 5 years of age, there are few that are still better than a golden color.

I don't have any experience with the lace gene, but from looking at some of the combos it tends to look a bit on the darker side in my opinion. That being said, Ax01 kinda nailed a few morphs that really do tend to hold bright colors. I'd look around for examples of the combos you're looking into to see how they're shaping up or aging. Look at the parents. You had posted a question about quality and what that meant. There was some great tips on there as to what to look for.

I think some quality enchis hold their color pretty well. Eric has some beautiful enchis combos, candinos come to mind as well. High contrast albinos also.
