    Lesser pastel?
It was sold as a lesser pastel. Not that I don't trust the breeder, but it doesn't quite look like the pastel lessers I'm familiar with so I just want confirmation on the morph. Its father is a queenbee and the mother is a mojave blade. It is brighter than its lesser sib but not as yellow as it's obvious pastel lesser sib.
Regardless of what it is, the price was a steal imo and it was a bit of an impulse purchase because I absolutely loved its pattern! The breeder provided awesome service too.

Hmmm, looks like just a bright lesser to me.

Here's a Lesser compared to the Pastel Lesser clutch mates.

Another pic from the breeder. The circular marking was his justification for saying it was a pastel. That, and its large flames.

Hatched out a couple pastel lessers this year myself and im not seeing the pastel here :( btw the circle has nothing to do with the pastel gene. Ask the breeder for pictures of the siblings. There is a chance it could be just a very low expressive.

This is a pic I got of the siblings. Animal in question on top, obvious pastel lesser on left, lesser on the right.

Based only on your last picture I would say no Pastel, just Lesser. If it is Pastel then it is not a good enough example and I would not purchase it.

I had already purchased it. It's just a pet anyway, and I'm not disatisfied with the snake or the price it went for either. Frankly, I wouldn't even return it if given the option.

I should have recognized that you had already purchased it and I hope I didn't offend. As a pet it should be wonderful. Almost any BP would be. And as a Lesser it is a nice example and if you love the pattern that is all that matters. I just don't believe it has Pastel in it. Therefore, if you were looking for it to be a Lesser Pastel, it wouldn't fit the bill. I understand what you mean about not getting rid of it regardless. It isn't always about the price or the morph. My daughter's favorite BP is a Normal Male rescue she picked up from an adoption site. If she could only keep one snake, he'd be it. Best of luck with your new baby.

I am not really seeing any pastel in there either.
The lighting in your original post completely changes the look of the snake compared to the breeders photos.
