    New BP and first feeding
Hello everyone, Got a new BP last week and am now getting ready for her first feeding, My question is, I was told she eats 2 hoppers, so would I put both in at the same time or 1 at a time?
Other question is how do you go about changing her from live to thawed ? as I would prefer thawed to live as to eliminate the risk of injury.

    One at a time!
Let her swallow the first one then drop in the second.

Mine was on live only when I got her at about a month and a half old. I bought a frozen, thawed it in a baggie in luke warm water, then put the baggie in some really warm water for about a minute and then pulled it from the baggie and offered it to her, nice and warm, and she took it within seconds. I've done the same thing with the past three feedings and she has great feeding reactions every time. I think while they are young, it's fairly easy from what I have read. It seems folks have a harder time going to rats from mice than from live to frozen. I say just go for it. If you only offer thawed (and warm) sooner or later, it'll take it.

Thank's , that's what I was thinking but wasn't sure. Next feeding I'll try the thawed.
