Ok I am building my incubator and I am curious as to wear everyone keeps them. I keep my bp`s in a heated room. Can I keep my incubator in there also? The room usually stays about 79-85. Would that be a problem since the bators should be 89-90?

Mine stays in the closet of my heated snake room.

Of course it's fine. It just means that whatever you're using to heat the 'bator won't have to work as hard.

Yeah, that will be fine. Mine used to be in the snake room til I moved it out and put in another rack. Now its just outside the snake room. Worked the same either way.

My incubator is currently in the snake room, the temps vary from 75 to 88 depending on the time of the year, I incubate at 88.5

If your incubator is properly insulated external temperature should not affect it.

Mine is in the snake room as well. The temps hover around 85 and I slow cooked the last batch of eggs at 86.7 with the hopes of hatching a super cinny (Pewter x Pewter YB). I thought I had one but after a few sheds he's looking more like a super Pewter... No issues with the clutch.

Mine is made out of an old fridge and is in the same room. Ambient room temp is. 82, the temp for my incubator is 89 (when running). I find it easier that way since I am already in the room.

Not to mention if you open it for any reason the temperatures won't fluctuate as much.
