    New boa pic and questions
I everyone, looking for some answers. I am new to Boa's and just picked this one up at a show for my kids. The guy said it is a Suriname X Peruvian. Does that look right? Does that make it a BCCor BCI? I think it is a male about 9months old. It is 24.5 inches. Any guesstimates on adult size? Thanks!http://s119.photobucket.com/componen...2Fimage_1.jpeg

It's hard to give you a definitive answer since you have a mixed bred Boa.

The Suriname is BCC. The Peruvian could be any one of the three; BCA, BCO, and BCL.

    Enjoy your beautiful boy!

And Welcome to the forum. :)

    ^^ This.

Both can get big compared to other localities. I've seen female pure BCC at 11-12'. Males usually stay shorter.

As an adult I'd plan on him needing a 48"x30"x18" enclosure at minimum, figure he'll top out eight to ten feet. Fortunately you have a few years before he gets that big.

Don't push food on him like you would a python, BCC have slow metabolisms. At his age he can eat every two to three weeks and the feeder should leave no or a minimal lump.
