    Health help please :)
I'm considering a trade for a yellow anaconda juvenile 4 month old male, the guy only wants one my old royals that is surplus to my requirements but i have concerns over the general health and condition of this little annie.

The pics he gave me looks to me like some very dry crusty stuck shed?? Can someone please advise me whether this is a real bad idea, is an indicator of bad husbandry? Any long term health risks or concerns. Or with proper care bounce back or am i worrying about nothing?

Hard to tell from those photos. The eye does look strange.

Assuming it is poor husbandry, and even if that is correctable, do you really want to give up one or your snakes to a guy who won't take proper care of them?

Unless you're prepared and able to spend quite a bit in vet bills if he is in poor health I'd say pass. It's better to wait and get a healthy snake from a responsible and reputable person than to take in a sick animal(also putting one of your animals into the same situation) and potentially infect your other animals and end up spending a lot at the vet just to have it die anyway.
