Ball not eating

I know all ball pythons go off feed like my adult male right now but I have a ball that's a year old and is still really small because he rarely eats as it is. Any tips to help me get him back on feed or should I just wait it out

More information is needed. When was the last time he ate? What is he fed on and how often do you feed him? How often do you handle him? Is he fed outside or inside his enclosure? How small is small, have an actual weight? Is his back bone very pronounced? What is his enclosure like? Temps, humidity, size and layout.

• How big is the animal? Weight?
• How big is the enclosure?
• What are your temps? Hot and cool side?
• How do you measure them and with what?
• How many hides are you providing? Are they tight around your BP's body?
• How do you offer food? In the enclosure? Outside?
• What prey type and size are you offering?
• How often are you handling your BP?

also to add to the other questions what color prey is being offered (it truly does make a difference for some snakes)

Before I went to work I feed one of my baby balls and put in a smaller prey item then normal and I sat it in front of his hide and he just took it. I guess I'm going to try and feed him this way now.
