Rough Sheds

Ugh, I'm a little frustrated.

I monitor the humidity in my rack and right now is averages anywhere between 50-60% humidity depending on the temperature of the room and whether or not I have the Windows open. Well, all my snakes have normal good sheds except my banana boy! For the last two sheds, it's been rough. Stuck shed on his face and random spots. Just before he went into shed this last time around I started misting his tub every couple days to raise the humidity. No luck. He started shedding and it's again come off in patches and he has stuck shed on patches of his body. I've let him take a warm soak once and I'll probably let him do it again this afternoon, I just can't figure out why he has such a hard time. None of the other snakes in the same rack have had issues shedding.

Any suggestions?

Does his tub have ventilation holes? If so try covering up a few, maybe his slot in the rack is just a bit taller than the others so he gets more ventilation over the top of his tub.

Yes, his tub has ventilation holes and I will try that.
Gotta figure it out soon, his shed is stuck on his head and I don't want him having issues with it

My male pied had a rough first shed with me. I had him in a tank and humidity was way off, so after he started shedding I realized it was off and covered the top and misted but it didn't really help, I guess the humidity was all over the place so it wasn't working. I did some baths and that got off pretty much all of the last 2/3rds of his body but his head and neck still had some. I've gotten it off now pretty much with tubs and I've just poured some water on the towel to bump up the humidity and put in a fake suction cup vine that he crawls in and out of (also works as a decent hide since he's still smaller).

I'd also consider switching his tub or tub location, maybe the shelf he's on has more of a gap than others.

Hi, have you thought about putting some fairly damp kitchen towel in/behind his hides in a ball kind of shape? He might just rub the skin off, usually works for mine
