There is alot of variance between banannas, I can't say for certain with yours it is unique, this is my girl a few months back when I first got her. Though from my understanding super coral glow is pretty rare to hit the odds on. What were the sire and dam?

Given the value of super bananas I doubt someone would let one go at a banana price

Plain bananas can vary widely also though. I've seen brilliant ones and super dull ones, some with the faded look like that and some with crisp edging on every line. All of them were plain bananas.

If it were a super, the breeder probably wouldn't let it go in a lot unremarked upon. Unless the person you got it from is clueless and didn't think that a "super banana" was worth keeping straight in the group, I would doubt it was a super.

Sorry to jump your post, but with banana / coral glow sex link gene, what would you get from super banana, males or females or a mix

Sex linked is an incorrect term right now to describe the banana anomaly, with the current info we have.

But breed to a normal you will get a normal ratio of males and female bananas

Bred to a banana, that's where things might get interesting with the sex ratio of banana/super bananas.
