    Blocked Cloaca? Dry feeling skin?
So I was checking out my ball python today and she seemed unusually dry. At first I thought she may be going into shed (She hasn't shed for me yet I have only had her for 2-3 months) however she shows no other signs. I decided I would give her a quick warm bath and see if it helped and she drank the water for a while and seemed better already (she only would stick out the fork of her tongue then started sticking out the whole thing making me thing her mouth was dry). I think she was dehydrated and didn't know where her water bowl was in her tank (I reccently moved her into a new tank and got her a new water bowl. When I put her back I put her IN the water bowl to show her lol). The humidiy has been on par so unless it's shedding I don't know what else it could be.
However, the one thing I am most worried about is that I noticed something about her cloaca. It seemed to have dry pee-matter on it. So after the bath I took a paper towel and wiped it away. However, her cloaca is still open slightly with some matter under the scale and I'm worried that she may not be able to urinate or deficate in this condition. My boyfriend told me not to worry about it and she will be fine but I'm very worried. Does anyone know what it could be/if it's normal or common, etc? Any advice? Thank you very much in advance any advice or insight is appreciated.
