    Rat sizes
Hi, I have a question on what rat pups should look like. I received my first BP about 2 months ago. I have other species but they all eat mice. The breeder told me he was on Pups so before he came I bought some pups at a show from Layne Labs. These are the only pups I've seen. So when Repticon was here a couple weekends ago I went for more feeders and got pups from Feeder Source. The Pups look night and day different. The Layne pups look like large fuzzies with hardly any hair. The FS pups have a ton of hair and weigh approx 4 grams more.

I guess my question is: Are the Layne Pups really pups or just lg fuzzies? Anyone else find this big of differences between suppliers?

    TIA!!

Layne Labs says their rat pups are 20-29g. Big Cheese lists their rat pups as 20-34g so (+/-) 4g is within both ranges. Most of the rat pups I get from BC are 25-30g. They definitely have developed fur. I did get some mouse fuzzys that looked like large pinkys but they were all within the advertised weight ranges.
