My two juveniles (Bredli and a jungle) are nippy, but it is defensive/fear bite-and-release. Not like my milk snake who would hang on and chew (but has outgrown it). Bruce the JCP

Anyway, Bruce the JCP seems to be calming down faster than Yingarna the Bredli, but both are improving.

My yearling coastal and 2.5 month old jungle are both really docile. I was expecting them both to be a bit more defensive based on a lot of what I'd read but I was pleasantly surprised. Neither of them have ever bit or even struck at me. I guess it varies from snake to snake. ;)
