    BP stopped shedding
    Hey guys!

So here's the deal. I have two BPs (male and female). Male is 2,5 years old and female is 2 years old. I have been feeding them appropriate size rat every 2 weeks (sometimes every 3 weeks bigger rat if I am on the road). They are eating perfectly, they are regularly defecating and urinating, however, I noticed that it has been about 2-3 months since they last shed. I do not worry about the temps, humidity or the overall enclosure setting as I have discussed this with you guys in my earlier threads and nothing has changed since. I cannot see what may be causing the stop in the shedding process.

Do you have any ideas? Or is it normal and I should not worry? :(

    Thanks a lot :gj:

    Hi,

They do tend to slow down on the shedding as they age - it simply takes longer to grow the required extra poundage the larger they are. ;)

You could put up a picture of them so we can see if there are any signs of problems for extra reassurance though.
