New Pinstripe Girls
Dracos and I ended up at Captive Bres Specialties yesterday, and Imade the mistake of asking to see a fire pinstripe.

I only put her down to go get a small Exo-Terra cage for her.
Then Ron asked to see a pinstripe black pastel.

I had to put my girl down again to go get another cage. They're both 2015's and seem so tiny compared to the two yearlings Dracos has.
Fortunately, Mongo the pickup truck has a generous storage compartment in the center console, because we had all three dogs with us. And a load bar in the bed to brace the cages. [emoji3] I named my fire girl Morimi, and Dracos named his girl Wadjet, aka Seanan (as in author Seanan McGuire).
Got home, set the cages up with UTH heat tape and the spare t-stat, etc.. got weights and pictures, and tucked them in before our adult son got home from work.
Son was oblivious, even after being at eye level with Wadjet's cage while she was standing on her tail in the front corner. A couple-three hours later I finally brought them to his attention, whereupon he had the expected (good-natured) conniption fit and dubbed them "Bloody #13" and "Bloody #14".
Wadjet seems bolder than Morimi so far, this morning she was on top of a hide, while Morimi was curled up in one of hers.
Very impressed with the Captive Bred Specialties storefront - clean, neat, not cluttered, well-lit. And more importantly, the display enclosures were clean and nice. It was nice to see the not-for-sale resident critters scattered around, too. The BPs are in racks in the back, but there was a list posted with year hatched, sexes, morph, and prices. There was a steady flow of customers for feeders in the middle of a weekday afternoon. I'd definitely go back.
