    Feeding Green Sea Turtles!
Join me as I feed some Green Sea Turtles (Chelonia mydas) at a rehab facility! Unfortunately, these individuals can not be released back into the wild. Remember that Green Sea Turtles are an endangered and protected species- please do not harass, harm or hurt them!

or any other species! these turtles, like so many other species, have suffered greatly (intentional or not) as result of human activities. kudos to those who run rescues.

I agree 100%! It's heartbreaking to see how many are injured each year by fishing lines, hooks, boat propellers etc. Luckily, there's still good people out there that dedicate their efforts to conservation and rehabilitation! It always bring a smile to my face when individuals are released back into the wild.

I loved watching them squirt the water out after gulping it in!

This brought back memories of me snorkeling with a Sea Turtle in Hawaii about 20 years ago. One of those treasured experiences.

    Thanks! :)

I agree- there's something magnificent about seeing them cruising in the wild!
