Temporary housing?

    Temporary housing?
I have a question about temporary housing. I have a T8 with a divider that I am planning on housing 2 BP's in until they are grown. Then I'll get another T8 so they can have their own place. My RHP's were delayed and have not arrived yet. I can't get the temps right in my T8 with just the heat tape. I have tried, but my house is just too cold at night. I can get close during the day if I have the florescent lights on, but at night with the lights off, no dice.

I have a deposit down on one BP (my son's) but it won't be ready until sometime next month. I am heading to Repticon tomorrow in Orange County with the hope of possibly picking myself up a BP also.

My my question is would it be possible to make a temporary home for a BP using a Sterilite Tub and some heat tape? I have plenty of heat tape and a thermostat available. I am just wondering if I would need to go get a ceramic heat element to provide additional heat or do you think heat tape would suffice? Or should I just wait until my RHP's arrive and have my T8 set up properly before I purchase my BP?

    Thoughts?

You can buy the BP at the show and then have the breeders ship it to you once you have the enclosure set up. Or you can buy a RHP there from Reptile Basics. I'm looking forward to the show. Going to be there on Sunday.
