    Whats up with this eye?
For some reason, a few days after shedding, one of my ball pythons eyes got weird. It looks like you can see the whites of the eye. It doesn't look cloudy or wrinkled. What's with this?

By the way its not just when he's eating, this was just the best pic I could find.

Is it like that all the time, or just with that feeding picture?

All the time. Could it be a retained eyecap, even if the black of the eye looks normal?

I would get it checked by a vet. If it were a retained eye cap, there would not be any swelling unless it constantly retains the eye cap with each shed... like three or four. One retained eye cap would not do that kind of damage. Having one retained eye cap is quite common and usually fixes itself with the next shed. I am just saying from the picture, it doesn't look like a retained eye cap. More pictures maybe might help from different angles?

Sorry, these pics really suck because he won't stay still. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11...0274656fd5.jpg

It doesn't look like its popped out or anything, but there's just a tiny white lining around his eye...doesn't look like part of an eyecap to me either.

Yeah, his eye is definitely swollen. That means a one way ticket to a vet. There is no sign of a stuck eye cap at all. He may have an eye infection or some sort of hemorrhage. Please take him in asap.

I agree, vet. I wonder if there could have been some sort of internal injury during a feeding or a hemorrhage like BCS suggested... my gut says that's something acute like that moreso than an infection.
