Shedding question..

explain to me why my male BP showed the shedding phase with the blue eyes and orange-ish looking belly for the last two days and now when i looked the blue is kind of gone the orange under belly is gone but i see no shed ANYWHERE, he's in a proper container so humidity is where it needs to be..

My bp takes about 2-3 additional days to slough his skin after he clears up.

This should help. Just keep up with the humidity and he should shed in no time.

After they go blue, ball pythons then "clear up" before the skin is actually shed. My guys usually go blue for 2 days then clear up for 3-5 days before actually shedding

My first male BP is taking "all day"<--- meaning a very long time to shed "past' and i want to get ll 4 of my BPs on the same eating schedule...:mad: :D

Getting them on the same feeding schedule shouldn't be very difficult.

Find one day that you wish to feed them on, say Friday for example. If you have one in shed, skip him as you feed the others.

He'll be fine for a week without eating...

Then just every Friday, you feed.

THANKS for the post/url link, problem was solved after i misted him and feeding commenced leter in the day.. Now my female on the other hand refused the feast last night im going to try her again today..

If they refuse a meal, there's not much of a reason to try again the very next day. Just chalk it up to her not being ready for a meal and try again on the next regularly scheduled feeding day. Offering food too often to a BP that's not eating will likely only add to both your own stress and theirs. :gj:

Many will eat in shed, and in case he doesn't. You can just feed him once he sheds and then feed him again on your feeding day. It's ok if you feed again sooner than a week.

Thanks for all the replies, i didn't word my post correctly "schedule" which i forgot to word correctly was meant as "all on the same day" type thing but THANKS for your replies..:D ;)
