Re: Feeders in chicagoland
I can't remember the name of the supplier (which is embarrassing, as a friend works shows for them), but I've bought some at the "Scott Smith's All-Animal Expo" at the DuPage Co. Fairgrounds - twice a month, next one is this weekend. Usually at the end of the hall near the doors, to the right.

Re: Feeders in chicagoland
I was just calling around to find out for myself (thank you for jogging my memory). PetSmart stores do not carry live feeders. The PetCo on Dundee Rd. In Palatine and Animal Feeds and Needs (Golf Rd., Arlington Heights) both have live feeder mice. I didn't think to ask about rats (d'oh!). PetCo's mice are $3, AF&N's are $2. I haven't bought from either, but am more inclined to go with AF&N as both cheaper and a long-term local independent store (they also have big bagged bales of both chipped and shredded aspen)

I am a doofus today. You were asking about frozen, and here I am nattering about live. (The guys at the DuPage show do have frozen, I had a brain earlier today.)
