    Killing food, not eating food.
Really the title says it all.

I fed my collection today and I had two girls, my albino and my butter, both happily go after and kill their food but left the bodies of the rats just lying in the cage. At first I noticed it but figured the would eventually eat it, as my albino girl did that last night. I came home about 2 and half maybe 3 hours later and they still hadn't touched their food. I'm not too concerned at this point, it's the first time either have done this and they both look like they are going into shed so I'm not stressing too much right now. Just curious as to why they did it and if anyone else has had this happen to them.

I have, usually it happens with males but occasionally females. I switch them over to a 10-14 day schedule instead of offering weekly.
