Hatchling doesn't want to eat! HELP!
I have a hatchling banana bumblebee male that does not want to eat on his own. Ive tried everything and he doesnt want to take on his own. he was hatched out 9/3/15 and hes the only one out the clutch that doesnt want to eat on his own.. ive tried all the usual methods such as live, frozen, braining the mouse, etc. The only way he has taken food is by assist feeding. His last succesful feed which was an assist feed was on 10/22/15, i tried to assist feed him again but he spit it out. Now im worried because hes starting to lose weight, and force feeding is something i do not want to do. Any suggestions?

He weighs 65 grams. Housed in a hatchling rack(6qt sterilite tub). Cool side 82 degrees with a hotspot of 88-89 degrees, and yes he does have a hide that on his warm side.

It sounds like your husbandry is on point and you've tried hard to get him going. I say keep at it and hopefully he'll come around. Have you tried rats or an asf? How about scenting the prey? Sometimes they don't all thrive. All we can do is try. Best wishes.
