    Names
Hi, I'm considering some names and would value some input. I'd like the names to be masculine but am also okay with them coming across as sort of gender neutral. I know a lot of names like Hunter, Riley, Jordan, etc. could also be girl's names but I'm not concerned about that.

I have a few options that I am looking through and would be happy for any comments or constructive criticisms. I know sometimes people can overlook things when being named, for example I know someone with the initials A.S.S. I'd like to avoid anything like that happening!

Without further ado, Here are some that I have chosen.

"A" Names, which I'm giving priority to:

    • Anderson
    • Ash
    • Archer
    • AJ (spelled just like that... too much?)

    Other names:

    • Julian/Julius
    • Justin
    • Felipe (a name my mom chose)
    • Harrison

I'm trying to avoid anything religious/biblical if possible, which has sharply limited my options. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any comments, even if they are to say "I don't care for any of those" :D

Oh, I completely forgot to mention that this is for a person! Hahaha My snakes are all food so far, too. Donuts and Marmalade, and plans for a boy who may be named Toffee or something like that :)

Anderson makes me think 'Anderson Cooper'. Archer makes me think of that horrible cartoon. Ash is rather nice. All of the AJ's I've known have been women, actually. If you like A - Perhaps a variant on Ash. Ashbourn, Ashton... Or a combination. Ashton Julius: AJ

Thank you, you're right about the cartoon. I haven't actually watched it but from what I've seen of it, it seems... like not a good show to share a name with. :(

Interesting about AJ being a feminine name. I had only ever heard it in reference to men. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I do like Ashton but I think of Ashton Kutcher. I guess there are worse celebrities to share a name with, though. I had considered Anderson as Anderson Cooper and don't see a downside to that.

Thanks again for the input, you've given me some things to consider!
