Shed help!!?

Not really sure this an issue, but last week on Tuesday I went to feed my BP and realized she was in blue, so then on thursday she cleared up and Saturday she shed off her head.. But only her head. Since then it seems like she isn't even trying to get it off, the skin looks dry even though the humidity is at 75% and I don't know if it might make it harder on her to get it off? I really don't know even know if this is an issue but last time she shed she had her skin off in a day after she cleared. Should I maybe but her in a tub with a damp washcloth or a bit of lukewarm water?? Or is this completely normal and I'm just very over cautious? Anyway, thanks,

What are you using to measure your humidity?

Your humidity isn't at 75%. Whatever you're using isn't accurate.

Im using an expensive hydrometer and it's only the dead outer skin that looks dry, and again, what can can I do to help it now?

If you're using some sort of wood substrate, perhaps a light misting of water would help. That's what we do for our guy when he's ready to shed and it seems to do the trick. Humidity should be higher than 75% for a successful shed (according to about a hundred posts and care sheets I've read on this forum).

If your humidity was 75% we probably would not be having this conversation. Double check it.

Whenever one of mine has a poor shed I put them in a small tupperware with a very small amount of warm water (about 1 to 2 cm) and a small washcloth for about 30 min. Make sure the water is warm and NOT hot, also make sure there are plenty of air holes in the lid. After the soak I hold them and the washcloth. At this point they tend to rub off the rest of the shed with the cloth without a problem. Also be aware that there is a good chance you will get pooped on. Warm water seems to be like laxative for herps.

Just make sure the cloth or towel you use is textured and damp / wet and wrap the snake in the towel and let the snake "slide" through your hands continuously ... When the head comes out - put the towel over it gently and keep letting it climb through your hands .... this works nearly every time in my experience buy certainly after the second attempt a day or so later ..
