What Type Of Pied?
I know for sure this boy is a pied, but I've had a few knowledgable people tell me he looks like he has another morph in him because he's so orange. He's really young, only about 2 months old, but it would be cool to know because he will eventually be a fun breeding project with my female pastel pied.
So, what other morphs do you think could be involved with making him so orange?

Re: What Type Of Pied?
Possibly pumpkin pied if anything (though I can't tell from these pictures), but pieds do have a wide range of color all on their own. My girl has patches of pastel yellow, but she's not a pastel pied. Cypress Creek has some wildly colored pieds too.
Honestly, I'd rather have an excellent looking single gene over a "could be" multi-gene any day. With those bright colors you should still get some amazing pastel pied babies! :)

let me see if i get this, it's called the pumpkin pied, from that crease connecting the two large spots together, Like a PUMPKIN creases looks..?? BEAUTIFUL snake..

not quite, Pumpkin pieds are called as such because yellow bellies contribute a vibrant orange color akin to that of pumpkins
Edit: To the OP, do you know who produced this pied and the animals lineage? I don't see pastel so my guess is that its either pumpkin pied or a really nice normal pied. I'm no expert so its just a guess

What did you purchase it as?
I would say pied.

Key word he is very young hence the orange.
I see a PIED I do not see YB in it, or anything else for that matter.

Thanks guys! I'll assume normal and see if he gets any more pumpkin looking as he grows :)
