Quick!! Look under your sink, there is a curved part that loops that has nut rings so you can take it off, find a adjustable wrench or appropriately sized wrench and tanker off that part and hope he hasn't gone past it. Usually water sits inside there so I doubt he tried to crawl through it and he is sitting in the part that is directly strait down below the sink. Please update.
P.s. place a bucket under the part your taking off to catch left behind water and stuff that's fallen into your sink.

I am so sorry I just realized you said tub!!! This is a bit more complicated. I know it is extremely cold so you could take something long that is very thin that he can hold onto and heat it up to 90° and he should try to grab onto it since I'm very sure that the metal pipe is extremely cold. Then just pull him strait up. If that does not work you can get under the house to find the line coming out of the bath tub to see the closest removable link and try to lure him to one side.

Call a plumber and hope he hasn't gone past the trap.
Also some bathrooms have an access panel so that you can get to the tub supply and drain lines - does yours?

Were you feeding him in the bathtub with an open drain? Were you watching him? I'm sorry this happened and I really hope you get him out.

Very unfortunate situation, but why were you feeding a snake in the bathtub????

That's kind of my thinking. Feeding him in a bathtub with an open drain just asking for disaster. If he made it past the trap he's long gone. Only hope would be if you had a septic tank you could dig up the lid and maybe find him in there.
