I did some research and crunched some numbers, then decided to take the plunge. Started with 3 males and 5 females for the first breeding season; that went very well, in my opinion.
That brings me to today... the part where I am excited/nervous. In November I will be setting up as a vendor at a local reptile show, I have been to the show as a patron, a couple of times, but never as a vendor. The part I think I'm most nervous about is what to expect. I mean, I understand a lot about the snakes and I am confident I could answer most any question that may arise, but I am still nervous.
I am curious if you have been a vendor, has this happened to any one else? Also, what was your first show like to you?
Nothing wrong with the answer, "I don't know."
All anyone really knows is their set-up, and their animals. One person can't have hands-on experience with everything.
That said, I'd be surprised if any of the questions you get are challenging. I'll bet most will absolutely basic. The hard part is actually fully answering a question from someone who has next to no base-line information to provide them with a context within which to understand the answer.
