Guin the female Picasso stripe BRB
My newest girl, Guin! I got her from Dave at Rainbows-R-Us as well. I named her after Guin from Guin Saga, she reminded me of him. >.>
She arrived with a heat pack and was warm. I tried to use the temp gun on her, but it's completely failed now. Keeps saying low battery or "change battery" without reading any temps even though I just put brand new batteries or freshly charged batteries in it. I'll be ordering another one in a few days to replace it.
As soon as I grabbed her to take her out of the bag, she began to crawl as fast as possible. She just about crawled out of my hand as I was taking photos. -.- She didn't bite me, though, unlike when Sanji first arrived.
She was born on July 30, and weighed in at 49 grams. This weekend when I go to get Bud some live mice (and maybe a rat if I can find somewhere to house it if he refuses, or the mice if he takes it), I'll grab her a couple of fuzzy mice since I don't have any on hand atm.

I didn't get any photos of her connected/stripey crescents due to her being so wriggly and them being in the opposite side, but I'll try and get some when she's settled in.

Thanks everyone! When I saw her I fell in love. Her patterns made her my favorite out of all of Dave's current babies. She won't be my last BRB, either, I don't think.

She took a tiny, almost fuzzy-sized hopper today! Once she smelled it she started hyperventilating, it was so cute. Haha She was definitely excited about having a meal!

Some new pictures, this time with some showing off those stripey patterns. She sat there staring at me for good 15 minutes after I finished taking pictures near the window and sat down. Then she showed herself to be my second-most active non-colubrid, just as when I unboxed her. She also seems much more aware of her surroundings than Sanji does, at least in the context that she actively looks around, turning her head and eyes.

Giving me that stare of uncertainty. She never looked away the entire time.

Her tail and belly. She's got a much longer tail than Sanji it looks like, and unlike Sanji she's got speckles going down most of her belly. Sanji's belly is 100% free of any pigmentation up until his tail.

Re: Guin the female Picasso stripe BRB
She is a beautiful snake and BRB's are on my "next snake" list. I had a two year old male in my hands two weeks ago at a show here, took too long to decide and missed him. Another booth had two small males but wanted twice as much for them. I'm trying to get one of these but have not heard back from the folks selling the snakes.

Her second meal with me! She got a slightly bigger hopper this time.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you'll find one soon.
There are breeders online that you can look at if you're willing to wait until spring, depending on how cold everyone is. Otherwise keep staking out the expos, I'm sure you'll find one. :)
