she unfortunately had to give away her snakes due to her roomate. Hopefully she will be in a better position soon and will be able to get back into herping. Who knows.
She sure was fun to have around though huh?

grr, roommates can be difficult that way sometimes. They expect you to be ok with them getting a dog or cat or other smelly, but they throw a hissy fit over your herps.

I am just glad that my boyfriend likes snakes. It's OK if people visiting don't like 'em. It's pretty funny to see grown men in their 30s who are afraid to see the snakes! But usually once they see how calm they are, the guys calm down.

It's a very good thing that my man and I share a passion for all kinds of animals, if not, we'd have big problems. Of course, sometimes it's a negative b/c he's not good at talking me out of taking in more pets!

Yeah, my boyfriend is no good at cage/tank cleaning. I do all of it. But he works more hours than me so I guess it evens out. :)

I end up doing all the snake cleaning, well most of the time. But, when we had fish tanks, Mark usually did all the maintenance on those...we both work full-time, so I can't give him leeway there...he does more yard work than I do, does that count??
