    Weird mojave...
A while back I bought a trio (2.1) of mojaves not sure if they were clutch mates but assumed they were the males were near identical in size. When I got them the lady said the female was smaller because she had a bad shed and had not been eating. I removed most of the stuck skin and kept her moist for her next shed cycle. Again she had stuck shed but her second with me and every one since went great. I noticed she had some weird "peppering" on some of her pattern that the two males did not have. I thought at first it was because her bad shed but now it seems as if it's just her. Is it maybe a birth defect or do some mojave have it and others don't? Doubt it's anything genetic but it's cool looking none the less.

It's common to see some black "smudges" or speckling. If they have larger, more solid smears of black it can be termed paradox which is rarely ever genetic.

Still results in a neat looking snake.

She was under sized and not eating when I got her, after two weeks I had to force feed her because she was really thin. Figured maybe something was wrong with her because her shedding and feeding problems so it's good to knows it's somewhat common.

Nah, that is what we here call the dirty look. Basically looks like dirt hence the name. Where I am from, the less dirty it is the better quality... but that doesn't mean it isn't a nice looking animal.
