i just bought an hovabator incubator and i was told i needed an expansion ring to put my bp eggs in could anybody help with this and do i have the best incubator its model # is 1602n

What I've seen done by somebody else was that they bought a fish packing box (it's styrofoam, and used that to create an incubator section. And they screened off the heating element so that no animal could reach it and be burned.
I'd post the entire sequence but it's not mine to post and it's on another forum.

my incubator came with a screen and a plastic tray that you put water in for humidity would i need to use this tray when im using vermiculite what about this screen should i lay the eggs on it or just put them in the bottom of the incubator im confused never done this before

Put the vermiculite and the eggs in a rubbermaid shoe/sweater box and put that box inside the hovabator. If you mix the vermiculite correctly, it will hold the proper humidity for the entire 2 months.

It means mixing the vermiculite with the correct amount of water to sustain the proper humidity inside the egg box for the entire 2 months of incubation.

Depends on the grade of vermiculite you are using and how hydrated it is before adding water. I mix in water until the vermiculite will hold together in a clump, but will not drip out any water when squeezed.
