    Gaining a lot of weight
I have two females who I have been placing with males since September. I have yet to see a lock or any breeding activity yet (though this is my first year so who knows what I am missing if anything). Since then they both have gained a bunch of weight. I haven't been feeding them any more then usual. My one female eats live ASF adult once a week and my other female eats a F/T medium rat once a week. I have been feeding them this since I got them but in one month they both have gained almost 300g which is a big jump since before breeding where they would gain maybe 80-100g a month. The female (a normal) who eats the F/T mediums does seem to be a little fatter, but nothing too scary. My other female (Vanilla) who eats the live ASF adult doesn't look fat at all. I just want to know if this is normal or if there is something going on? Out of the 23 snakes I have these are the only two gaining a large amount of weight. I have had them for over a year and a half, feeding them the same thing since then, plus the owners before hand was feeding them these prey items. Any thoughts?
