    First Shed
I knew it was coming. Both hatchlings went blue on the 17th. I raised the humidity with a wrung out towel under plastic on the top of each tank. Dusty shed this evening. He took the head and neck area off by himself. I panicked at that point, and looked up some "bad shed" videos. With a bit of Saran Wrap around my fingers to provide some tact, I held him in three fingers while he worked his way out. Watched a bunch more snake videos during the process.

Came off in three large pieces - not perfect, but at least not in shreds.
    Shiney new snake.
Hope the other can get it done tomorrow.

(Thread accidentally put in the Rat Snake section - should be King)

Still no shed on the other. This one has always been slightly larger and stronger. I was not expecting this one to delay his shed.
Tank has been over 60% humidity for two days. The water bowl is available for soaking, but haven't seen the snake do so. Warm spot is mid 80's. I put some sheets of rough bark for it to scrape on to get the process started. (I have spagnum moss on order, so next time, I can stuff a damp hide.)

I don't want to keep the tank that humid for too long, and risk an RI, and the next feeding is due on the 22ed.

    No reason for alarm...right???

I would calm down. Put a tupperware container with a hole in it in the cage with moist moss. The snake will do the rest.
