What to get at the next expo!
Good morning!! My two sons and I are planning on going to the expo in overland park KS on Nov. 8th. We have a normal ball python right now and was thinking about getting another one. I wouldn't mind getting some kind of morph but don't want to spend an insane amount of money. I know I'll spend more than what a normal bp costs and that's OK. Does anyone have any suggestions on what our next bp should be? So excited about going!

Everyone's taste is different. Best advice is to find one that you can't live without in your budget range. Don't forget about housing and all that goes into it. BPs don't co-habitate. Have fun!

If you want something different from a normal or something that is not normal looking I would suggest a spider. They are super cheap and look the most different from normals when we are talking about base morphs. Or there is the calico. A small bit more money then a spider but gorgeous snakes. Ultimately it is up to you and there are so many I could name off right now... pinstripe, kingpin, super pastel, cinnamon, pewter, the list goes on. Spiders are definitely the cheapest but if you can afford a little more, make sure you take a look at others.

if you don't want to spend a lot of money, but still want a great looking single gene morph, i'd suggest a lesser (should be able to find one for $100 or less, depending on breeder) or a banana (should be around $200)

There are many mutations below $100

Spider, Cinny, Black Pastel, YB, Mojave, Pastel, Lesser, Enchi, Pinstripe.

You can easily find 2 genes animals as well below $200

Bee, Lemon Blast, Pewter, Pastel Lesser, Pastave etc

The spider is actually the one I was considering. Although I was just holding a friend's lemon blast and fell in love with her! Absolutely gorgeous!! Thanks for all the help!!
