    Most of the time it's like having a big tub of dirt but sometimes you get a treat and actually see the snake.

    Sounds like the Sunbeam might be a good candidate for a planted terrarium?
    I realize burrows can be a problem, but perhaps the actual plants could be set down still in pots.

    (Found a Youtube where some ((Kid?)) had about a dozen planted terrariums with dart frogs...gorgeous and amazing. Now, I'm sort of obsessed with the idea of a planted terrarium.)

    I haven't considered a planted terrarium. I'm not sure how plants would thrive as there's not a lot of light in the tub and considering how wet the substrate is.
